The actual gear layout is still up in the air, but with the gears finally cut I'm starting to see new ways to lay them out...

The gear train begins with a 90 tooth planetary gear that is attached directly to the blade. This gear meshes with a 14 tooth pinion gear attached to a ratchet. The ratchet drives an 88 tooth gear meshing with another 14 tooth pinion meshing to a 46 tooth gear, then to a 90 tooth gear and finally a 46 tooth gear. Should be a lot of fun watching them spin.

The Eye of Set presents a a few firsts for me; this is the first time I've made a multi-part folding blade, the first time I've used gears made of materials other than brass, and is the first time I've used a planetary gear in one of my reduction geared automatic knives.
